Patpong, the famous red light district in Bangkok is located on 2 streets - Patpong 1 and Patpong 2. Patpong 1 has plenty of go-go bars, but is mostly visited for its large night market where knockoffs of every kind are sold at very low prices. Patpong 2 is everything that you have probably heard about Bangkok's red light districts and sex trade and is the most popular area in Bangkok for these purposes. Most recommend the downstairs establishments, as the ones on the 2nd level tend to be known for ripping people off.
