I was expecting the equivalent of an Indian casino in the U.S., but was pleasantly surprised. It is on the smaller side, but similar in a lot of ways to a Vegas casino with some differences. The first difference is that there is no cocktail service at the tables which really sucks. You can smoke (at most tables) and drink though. They had more Roulette tables than anything else. I play blackjack and there were only about 4 tables running with minimums ranging from 2-20 Euros. Their blackjack is wacky because people standing up can bet on your hand and are at the mercy of your playing decisions. If you are sitting down and playing a hand, you can also bet on other players' hands.. weird. Also, they have a jackpot if you are dealt 3 7s in a row. What I didn't know was that you had to bet on it and there is a little digital counter in front of you that shows how many hands you have left before you have to rebet. It is only 1 cent per hand and guess who got 3 7s? Fuck, I would have won almost $30,000.... As for the slot machines, the minimums range from 2 cents on up. There are many American slots that should be pretty familiar, but they seem to have them wound up pretty tight. Also, I ate at their restaurant on the 2nd floor and it was very, very good. Another surpise. And not ridiculously priced compared to other restaurants in the city.
