Barney’s, the renowned winner of multiple “High Times Cup” awards, is now Amsterdam’s most original and futuristic coffeeshop. We’re back at the 500-year-old landmark building on Haarlemmerstraat where it all started 23 years ago, and after extensive renovations, our re-designed interior is more comfortable than ever.
After entering our charming, meticulously restored historic building, you’ll find yourself transported into a décor inspired by an old fashioned apothecary, with lots of interesting and imaginative accents. But the experience is absolutely 21st Century. On every table, there’s a media monitor showing informational videos specifically produced for our customers, offering entertaining information that will make your visit to Barney’s – and Amsterdam – more fun and fascinating. Each table also has its own vaporizer, a state-of-the-art device that’s quickly becoming a favorite of connoisseurs.
We’ve also updated and improved our beverage menu, with freshly brewed flavored coffees, an expanded selection of tea, and of course, our famous milkshakes.
