Rojo Lounge
Rojo Lounge at Azul Resort was designed to have a casual atmosphere where people can experience what we like to describe as "Tropical Lounge Cuisine". From the moment you arrive, the air speaks of the tropics. The majority of the restaurant is under a huge beachfront palapa, steps from the water's edge. There's never pressure to turn tables, custom designed bamboo furniture intentionally entice guests to sit back and relax.

This was the best (and most expensive) restaurant we tried on Ambergris. Wow, the food is really really good and the ambience cannot be beat. It is gourmet continental-spanish-belizean type tapas, and it is set up outside like it were inside- couches, pool tables, big comfortable chairs and coffee tables, all on the beach. This place rocks!

This restaurant was incredible. Excellent food and great service. Their food is tapas style and great for sharing. The ambience is as good as it gets. We sat in the open air outdoor area which is beautiful and relaxing. They even have a pool table outside.

The only drawback to this restaurant is that it is incredibly expensive. In fact, one of the most expensive restaurants I have ever eaten at, but it was worth every penny - especially since we did't pay for it. :-)

You will most likely need to catch a water taxi to get here as it is located quite a ways north from San Pedro.
