The Virgin Gorda Airport (VIJ) is serviced by Air Sunshine providing flights from Puerto Rico and St. Thomas. These flights take about 30 minutes. Charter flights are also available to the airport from various destinations. The airport was purchased from Little Dix Bay Resort for $2.9 million in 2005, and underwent construction and repairs in 2010.
