This is a boutique hotel. I don't know what that means, and I don't care. The location in Victoria was good, but could be better. We stayed in a two bedroom suite with our friends. I thougt it was a bit cramped, but not too bad. The rooms have a little deck which I enjoyed. The staff was friendly and the internet access was free, which was nice. The suite had a full kitchen, and a full sized fridge. our queen sized bed was very comfortable.
I did not have a problem with the lack of AC, but I could see how others might..

Great location, comfortable and modern hotel. Very reasonably priced for it's location and amenities. Linens were nice, bed comfortable. The lack of a/c in the rooms is a problem. I think a lot of people like to sleep in a cool room. The fitness center also did not have a/c, and was super small. The Elliptical trainer was too rickety for real use. The staff was very pleasant and prompt. Overall, I enjoyed this hotel. Just a few minor problems.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel is easy walking distance to the city center.
The rooms do not have wireless internet by default, but after asking the front desk, they gave us a wireless router. My biggest complaint was the lack of AC. Our first couple of days here, it got up to about 70 and it was very warm in our 2 bedroom suite. I can't imagine how hot it gets in the summer. The strange thing is that the hallways are air conditioned. This is something that they definitely should address, but other than that, we had a pleasant stay here.
