Red Fish Blue Fish
Since August 3, 2007, this place-located, rather appropriately, in a sea cargo container-has offered sustainable, 100% Ocean Wise seafood (Ocean Wise being a Vancouver Aquarium conservation program launched to help restaurants and their customers make environmentally-smart seafood choices.) They don't serve nuts, dairy, or meats. They make everything from scratch (save the soda pops and mayo). They also have a very comprehensive reuse and recycle system, complete with biodegradable (i.e., made from potato starch) dishware, utensils and napkins ... even the vegetable oil they fry with powers their company automobile!

I love this place! I love how conscientious they are, and I am happy to support that. It is definitely not the cheapest take out food you will find, but it was well worth it for taste alone, and then, of course, the commitment to sustainability and eco friendliness is a big plus. They made their own chai with soy milk and it was tasty. The salmon fish and chip was absolutely excellent. Dont miss this place when you visit here.

Holy damn! This place is incredible. I had never eaten salmon fish and chips before, so I had to try it. I got a 1 piece serving which was more than enough as the piece of fish was huge. The salmon was perfectly cooked, very juicy and the breading was delicious. Throw a little tartar sauce into the equation and you have a perfect meal. Even the fries were better than most. This is the best food I have had in Victoria so far.
