Alaska is the largest state in the United States, in fact, it is more than twice as large as the 2nd largest state (Texas). Alaska is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the North, Canada's Yukon and British Columbia Territories to the east, the Gulf of Alaska and Pacific Ocean to the south, the Bering Sea to the southwest, and the Chukchi Sea to the northwest. Alaska's coastline is longer than all other U.S. states combined. Alaska is the least densely populated state with over half of its residents living in Anchorage.
