Close to several Coconino National Forest campgrounds and hiking trails. The park is 6 miles north of Sedona on highway 89A.

This is some beautiful country here. We walked down to slide rock and saw a couple of people do the slide. We hiked up the canyon as far as it will let you (about a half mile). There are several places where you can cross the creek and a couple of these places there are rocks you can jump off (10-15 feet hight) into deep water. This is a cool place that is definitely worth visiting.
