Locals say this is the safest year-round swimming beach and great for small children. Tucked behind Kala Point, the narrow park has a shallow offshore reef that protects the sandy shoreline from the area's high surf. In addition to swimming, you can snorkel on the left side of the beach.

This was a pretty good beach. Good for swimming and a nice area to snorkel on the left. The beach is wide and good for frisbee or other beach sports.
