Hanapepe Cafe has a new look with a new menu, and some great live music to go with it. The place is usually full during lunch, and hot favorites are garden burgers that you can have with sautéed mushrooms, grilled onions, pesto, fresh-grated Parmesan, and other ingredients. The fresh rosemary home fries, grilled vegetable sandwich, whole roasted garlic heads, eggplant parmesan, grilled vegetable charlotte, or four cheese lasagna are delectable too. On a Friday-night, the dinner menu has Italian specialties like southwestern-style lasagna with green chilies, polenta, and sun-dried tomatoes, lasagna quattro formaggio with spinach, mushrooms, and four cheeses, crepes and the famous marinara sauce!
