Aitutaki's beautiful lagoon is enclosed by triangle shaped atoll consisting of motus, sandbars, and coral reef. Inside this atoll is the giant swimming pool known as Aitutaki Lagoon. With a maximum depth of 35ft, the lagoon's turquoise waters offer excellent snorkelling and scuba diving. Charter boats are readily available to take people to the motus and explore the lagoon. |

The lagoon is incredible. Every shade of blue and green you can imagine. The fact that it averages 15 feet deep and maxes out at 35, makes it an incredible place to snorkel, swim, and boat. One of the best swimming spots is right off the beach at Samade's.
